The Swimaholic Swim Snorkel eliminates body rotation while breathing and allows you to focus on body balance. Breathing through the snorkel increases lung capacity. It is suitable for use in the pool to practise your swimming technique.
The snorkel can be used with any type of goggles.
The swim front snorkel comes in one universal size for adults and juniors over 12 years of age. The strap and mouthpiece are made from soft silicone. The strap is easy to adjust and is split in the middle for a better and more comfortable fit on the head. The snorkel is made of PVC
The blue Swimaholic snorkel is equipped with a silicone mouthpiece and a one-way valve. It is a popular aid because it allows you to concentrate solely on your swimming technique. You don't have to breathe in sideways and you can concentrate on your stroke and steamline. I have to say, there were a few times when I forgot how many pools I had swum as the swim went by so quickly.
The snorkel has a 46cm tube. The tube is oval in shape with a diameter of 2 x 3.5 cm. The snorkel has a silicone head strap, a silicone mouthpiece and a built-in one-way valve at the bottom. This is handy because it allows you to blow the water out of the snorkel after a flip turn, rather than having to blow the water all the way back up the tube. As soon as you exhale, the valve closes again and no water enters the tube. It's quicker, more efficient and more comfortable.
What I like about the Swimaholic snorkel is its simplicity and workmanship. After the flip turn, the snorkel doesn't move or vibrate underwater, it stays nicely in place. The diameter of the tube is large enough to make it easy to breathe through the snorkel even when swimming faster. I like the fact that the snorkel has a rubberised and comfortably shaped front attachment. This means that it stays in place even when you are using it for a long time and does not bother you in any way.
