I've worn a lot of flippers in the time I've been swimming. Different materials, brands, shapes and BornToSwim fins are some of the few that have worked for me. When I choose my fins, I always look to see if they fit around my ankle, don't pinch my instep and especially my heel. And even though I prefer open heel fins, the fins have fit me beautifully in the store.
My biggest fear was the softness of the fins, but after a few pools I found that there was definitely nothing to worry about. Because the fins are softer, I was able to swim both the looser series and the more challenging ones with ease, and I was more than tired when I got out of the pool afterwards.
Another plus to mention is definitely the comfortable material. It doesn't rub anywhere, it adapts beautifully to your foot and you often forget you have fins on. At the same time, the fins also have a non-slip sole, so your foot won't slip when you turn around.
The fins are really comfortable and I could swim longer series with them. There are no rough ends anywhere on the fins that would grind on your foot. You can use the fins in the pool, but also in open water. And they will definitely be your favorite tool for most workouts.
