The silicone material that the Swimaholic CoolFins are made of is significantly softer and more flexible compared to similar fins from other manufacturers. However, the fins won't push as much and won't make your ankles sore during longer workouts.
The fins are different for the left and right foot, watch out for that. It's written on the fins, but you can tell by the toe cutout. I had the fins to try on and was surprised how soft they were. They fit well and don't slip off my foot. I was a little worried about the strap over my heel, but even with more intense training it didn't squeeze me.
